ABOUT JACK PRICE


JACK PRICE IS THE DESIGN FIRM of André Price Jackson, who has over the past twenty years been providing floral design for some of Southern California's most prestigious events and high profile private and corporate clients. A Los Angeles native, Andre started gardening as a child with his maternal grandmother, from whom he inherited a passion for flowers and plants as well as a seemingly effortless way of transforming everyday fauna into elegant displays. Throughout his career, Andre has built long-lasting client relationships on a combination of outstanding personal service, a unique artistic sensibility and a keen eye for detail.

Andre began his career as a floral designer in San Diego in 1989, as an apprentice for renowned Dutch floral designer and educator Rene van Rems. In 1993, Andre opened his own studio, AG Flowers and Gardens, in that city's booming downtown Gaslamp Quarter.

In 2005, Andre left San Diego to return to his native Los Angeles, where he founded Jack Price Design, a floral design firm specializing in personalized floral services for residences, restaurants, boutiques, and parties of up to two hundred guests. His passions for nature, fashion, and home design, and his love of Southern California’s regional flora and cultural diversity, continue to inspire him and his work. In addition to his work as a personal florist, he has taught classes in floral design at the University of California San Diego and has been a photography stylist for Couleur Nature and an array of elite San Diego caterers.
